For the fourth time, the National Bureau of the EU Creative Europe Program in Ukraine and the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation will hold the International Grants Fair in the field of culture, which will take place in a hybrid format this year. On May 25, everyone will be able to join the event on-line to learn about opportunities to raise funds to implement their own creative projects, and a limited number of visitors will be able to participate in an off-line workshop to prepare grant applications for European programs.
The EU's largest program to support the cultural and creative industries, Creative Europe, has become the most effective tool for the development of artists in the first seven years of its existence, and more than 11,000 supported projects have joined the continent's best ideas. In Ukraine, grants from the program have already been received by the Kyiv International Film Festival “Molodist” and the Odesa International Film Festival, the Masterskaya music label, the Isolation Charitable Foundation, the Chamber of Crafts of Ukraine, the Internews Ukraine PO, the Ivan Honchar Museum and many others. The National Program Bureau in Ukraine will share the results of the first 7 years of the program and its activities at the Fourth International Cultural Grants Fair on May 25. At the same time, during the event everyone will have the opportunity to learn about open grant opportunities in Ukraine. The discussion on the prospects for synergies between the largest European grant programs is of particular note in the program: “Horizon Europe” (formerly Horizon 2020), Erasmus +, as well as “Creative Europe”, and, of course, how Ukrainian artists can use its opportunities for stable work at the international level.
In addition, a limited number of visitors will be invited to an off-line workshop in Kyiv to prepare grant applications for European programs. Visitors will learn what kind of team and competencies organization needs to implement projects supported by European programs, the legal aspects of work, building international partnerships, testing own ideas and budgeting for grant projects. The workshop will be conducted by Mykola Smolinsky, President of the Central European Academy Studies and Certifications (CEASC), a business coach with 15 years of experience, an expert in attracting program grant funding for European Union, Norwegian and Vyšehrad Foundations. Workshop participation is free and will be offered to a limited number of visitors based on their motivation.
Information partners of the event are Hromadsky Prostir and GURT Resource Center.
