On 15 March, the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation held its first Information Day since the beginning of the full-scale war in unbreakable Kharkiv. The event began with a briefing at the Kharkiv Media Hub with the participation of Vladyslav Berkovskyi, UCF Executive Director, Igor Tuluzov, UCF Supervisory Board member, acting General Director and Artistic Director of the Mykola Lysenko Kharkiv National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, and Eduard Pavlenko, Director of the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
The participants of the briefing presented the results of the work of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation during the war (in particular, they spoke about the Foundation's international communication campaign that aimed to expel representatives of the Russian Federation from international unions and about its own sociological research and its role in determining the directions of international assistance to Ukraine), and discussed the participation of Kharkiv region in the 2023 grant season.
After the briefing at the Mykola Lysenko Kharkiv National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, Dmytro Reshetchenko, UCF Deputy Executive Director for Project Work, spoke in detail about the expert evaluation of project applications.
Svitlana Kolesnikova, Deputy Head of the UCF Project Department, analyzed the most common mistakes made by applicants when submitting application packages for the call. At the end of the Information Day, a traditional Q&A session was held.
"If you see the announcement about an information day in your city, prepare a list of questions and definitely come to us. We are interested in having as many applications as possible that will pass the stage of technical selection and expert evaluation, and projects implemented with the support of the Foundation", - said Vladyslav Berkovsky, Executive Director of the UCF.
The event was organized with the support of the Mykola Lysenko Kharkiv National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre and the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.
