"Kherson Region - is Ukraine" - project supported by the UCF opens an exhibition in the Artist's House in Kyiv

The main exhibition includes more than 60 works, the authors of which were presented by more than 20 artists from all over the country.

"Today's exhibition is the result of an art residency that took place this summer in Uman with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation. The works have already been presented in Mykolaiv, Odesa, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kryvyi Rih, and today - finally in Kyiv. With the language of art, we emphasize once again that Kherson Region is Ukraine. And, considering the popularity of paintings abroad, the world is in solidarity with us!

I am sincerely grateful to Pavel Yarmii, Head of the Regional Development Agency of the Tavria Union of Territorial Communities, for the idea of the project and to Kostyantyn Chernyavskyi, Head of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, for his comprehensive assistance in organizing the exhibition in Kyiv", - said Vladyslav Berkovski, Executive Director of the UCF.

During the opening of the exhibition, a traditional auction of paintings was held. Nowadays, every visitor to the exhibition can buy a postcard or a magnet with the image of one of the artist`s work. All proceeds from auctions and sales of souvenirs are directed to the needs of the 57th motorized infantry brigade, which today is liberating the left bank of the Kherson region from the Russian invaders.

We invite you to visit the exhibition, which will last until December 30, at the Artist's House ( (Budynok Khudozhnyka) (1-5 Sichovyh Striltsiv St.).

The project is organized by the NGO "Agency for Regional Development of the Tavri Territorial Communities Association" together with the CF "This Craft" with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation.
