Recently, the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation has received numerous inquiries from applicants regarding audit firms that offer their services on behalf of the UCF.
We would like to emphasize once again that the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation operates in accordance with current legislation, so it has no authority to provide recommendations to grantees on the selection of contractors in a particular area.
In accordance with antitrust law, the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation does not provide any recommendations to grantees when selecting a contractor for the provision of audit services, does not interact with any of the audit firms and does not offer any audit firm to cooperate with, nor does it offer applicants to use services of any audit firms.
The grantee selects the contractor at its own discretion and is responsible for selecting the contractor.
Please note that the main and only requirement of the Ukrainian Cultural Fund to grantees for the quality of audit services is the requirement that the audit report provided by the grantee on the project results must meet the "Requirements for an independent auditor's report" approved by the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation Law № 17 of 06.03.2020.
