UCF and UCU will create a training course for the Foundation's experts

The Ukrainian Cultural Foundation and the Ukrainian Catholic University have signed a partnership and cooperation agreement.

Through joint actions, the institutions seek to provide favorable conditions for the professional development of representatives of the cultural sphere and the sustainability of expertise in it, to introduce quality standards for expert evaluation of cultural and artistic projects. An online training course for the certification of experts of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation, designed to help UCF experts study the assigned tasks to the Foundation under the Law "On the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation" in more detail and will be the result of this cooperation. It will help the UCF experts to get acquainted with the methodology of the expert`s work and the method of project evaluation. The course should also update the knowledge of experts about existing project practices, in relation to the rules and requirements for cultural and artistic projects in the competitive programs of the UCF, modern approaches to culture, as well as trends and challenges in some areas. The course will consist of lecture materials and practical assignments developed by teachers of the Department of Cultural Studies and the Department of Political Science at UCU. Its implementation is set for the spring 2021.

The International Renaissance Foundation will support the development of an educational course for UCF experts.
